Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using this website and the member portal, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Intellectual property
The Association name, logo, site design, text, and forms are the property of the Mercer County Landlords Association or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Members may use association forms for their own rental operations but may not resell or redistribute them.
Acceptable use
- Do not use the site or portal for unlawful, harassing, or fraudulent purposes
- Do not post false, defamatory, discriminatory, or infringing content
- Do not attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, data, or systems
- Do not scrape, overload, or disrupt the service
We may suspend or remove accounts and content that violate these terms. See our Security Policy.
Member-contributed content
You retain ownership of content you submit (such as property listings and message-board posts) but grant the Association a license to display and distribute it within the portal and directory. You are solely responsible for your content and for complying with fair-housing and advertising laws.
Fair housing
All rental listings and communications must comply with the federal Fair Housing Act and applicable state and local laws. Discriminatory advertising is prohibited.
Limitation of liability
The site and portal are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Association is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site. See also our Content Disclaimer.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of West Virginia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
